Description
Forty-seven Gulch is located trends W to Ninety-two Hunter Creek, 8 mi. E of Rampart, Yukon-Tanana Highlands. 3 miles long.
History
Named by prospectors; reported in 1904 by L. M. Prindle and F. L. Hess, (in Brooks and others, 1905, fig. 6), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), as "47 Pup".
