Soonkakat River is located flows NE 31 mi. to Yukon River, 2 mi. E of Nulato; Koyukuk Low.
History
Koyukan Indian name, probably the same as "Junekaket" (Jhunkakat), published in 1898 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). recorded a stream identical with this one, which he hamed "Yukokakat."
