Orphan Creek is located flows W to Troublesome Creek, 15 mi. SE of Rampart, Yukon=Tanana High.

Named by Prospectors; reported in 1904 by L. M. Prindle and F. L. Hess (in Brooks and others, 1905, fig. 6), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
