Description
Eightmile Slough is located heads at Seventeenmile Slough, flows NW to Porcupine River, 6 mi. NE of Fort Yukon. 12 miles long.
History
Local name reported in 1956 by T. E. Taylor, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), so called because the stream is 8 miles from Fort Yukon along the Yukon and Porcupine Rivers.
