Description
Seventeenmile Slough is located anabranch of Porcupine River, flows NW 10 mi. NE of Fort Yukon, Yukon Flats.
History
Local name obtained in 1956 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); so called because the anabranch flows into the Porcupine River 17 miles from Fort Yukon.
