Description
Esker Stream is located heads in Atrevida Glacier 0.5 mi. W of Amphitheater Knob, flows S and SE to Yakutat Bay, 4.6 mi. SW of Bancas Point and 25 mi. N of Yakutat, St. Elias Mts. 4.5 miles long.
History
Named by Russell (1892, pl. 4). An esker is a serpentine ridge of sand and gravel deposited by a stream in association with glacier ice.
