Description
Split Creek is located heads at Canyon Glacier, flows S to Alsek River, 4.6 mi. NE of Dry Bay and 50 mi. SE of Yakutat, St. Elias Mts.
History
Descriptive name published in 1959 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). So called because of its braided condition.
