Description
Poul Creek is located heads 1.2 mi. SW of Munday Peak, flows S to Gulf of Alaska, 1.7 mi. E of Umbrella Reef and 86 mi. NW of Yakutat, St. Elias Mts.
History
Named for Angel Poul who located oil lands near Cape Yakataga in 1897. Name reported in 1903 by G.C. Martin, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
