Description
Agassiz Glacier is located heads at Newton Glacier, in Canada, trends S to Malaspina Glacier, 55 mi. NW of Yakutat, St. Elias Mts. 15 miles long.
History
Named by William Libbey, Jr., of the New York Times Expedition of 1886, for Louis Agassiz, 1807-73. See Agassiz, Point.
