Description
Extends from the eastern edge of the Chugach National Forest, S to the Gulf of Alaska and E into Canada, in Wrangell-Saint Elias Wilderness; comprises a complex of large glaciers, ice valleys, ice streams and smaller tributaries
History
Named for the Bering Glacier, the most prominent feature of this large glacial system.
