History
November 3, 1915 Board on Geographic Names (BGN) Decision vacated in May 18,1952 for the following reasons: 1) Does not appear on any available maps, 2) no evidence of name ever was used, 3) another feature, Mount Talbot, used on the international boundary SE of this feature, 4) submitted in 1915 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, to be named for Isham Talbot, U.S. Senator from Kentucky.
