Chain of four lakes extending E-W about 7 mi, on W coast Chicagof Island and draining into Goulding River, 10 mi. N of Chichagof, Alex. Arch.

Named in 1955 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and published by Rossman (1959b, map) U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); derived from Goulding Harbor into which the lakes drain.
