Mine Mountain is located on Chichagof I., 4 mi. N of head of Goulding Harbor, 13 mi. N of Chichagof, Alex. Arch.
History
Name reported by Rossman (1959, p. 209), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). So named because of the gold mine on the west side, which was opened in 1921.
