Description
Point Leo is located on N shore of Salisbury Sound, on Chichagof I., 20 mi. SE of Chichagof, Alex Arch.
History
Named in 1896 by Lieutenant Commander E. K. Moore, U.S. Navy (USN), for adjoining Leo Anchorage. The name was published in 1900 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) on chart 8282.
