Whitestone Point is located on SE shore of Neva Strait, at Whitestone Narrows, on NW coast of Baranof I., 16 mi. NW of Sitka, Alex. Arch.
History
Name published by W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), in the 1883 Coast Pilot (p. 156). The name probably was derived from nearby Whitestone Narrows.
