Located in Khaz Bay, 10.5 km (6.5 mi) south-southwest of Chichagof, on the west coast of Chichagof Island, Alexander Archipelago.

Descriptive name given in 1908 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) and published in the 1908 Coast Pilot (p. 171).
