History
Local name recorded in 1908 by C. W. Wright (in Brooks and others, 1909, pl. 3), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). According to Wright (1915, p. 62), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the Green Monster Mines were located here in 1900.
