Abbess Island is located between San Alberto Bay and Shinaku Inlet, W of Wadleigh I.; Alex. Arch. 0.9 mile long.
History
named in 1927 by U.S. Forest Service (USFS), "After a boat Abess, property of Robert Scott, former fox farmer on the island."
