Coffman Island is located at SE end of Kashevarof Passage, on NE coast of Prince of Wales I., Alex. Arch. 1 mile long.
History
Named in 1886 by Lieutenant Commander A. S. Snow, U.S. Navy (USN), for Lieutenant Dewitt Coffman, U.S. Navy (USN), a member of his party.
