Description
Red Glacier is located in Lincoln Mts., trends N to its (1955) terminus 6.5 mi. NW of Hyder, Coast Mts.
History
Descriptive name given in 1926 by Buddington, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because the "moraine of this glacier is almost wholly of red quartz monzonite boulders."
