Description
Gray Glacier is located heads on NW slope of Ninemile Mtn., trends S to its 1955 terminus 8 mi. NW of Hyder, Coast Mts. 2 miles long.
History
Descriptive name given in 1926 by A. F. Buddington, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because the moraine of this glacier is composed almost wholly of gray granodiorite boulders***.
