Description
Port Caldera is located extends S off Bucarcli Bay, on W coast of Prince of Wales I., 6.5 mi. S of Craig, Alex. Arch. 1 mile long.
History
Named "Puerto de Caldera" on June 1, 1779, by F. A. Maurelle. Caldera means "caldron," the reference probably being the shape of the estuary .
