Description
Gedney Harbor is located on W coast of Kuiu I., 8 mi. S of Tebenkof Bay, Alex. Arch. 1.5 miles long.
History
Named in 1901 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) "for the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) steamer Gedney from which a reconnaissance of the harbor was made in 1899-1900."
