Thetis Bay is located at S end of Tebenkof Bay, on W coast of Kuiu I., Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1928 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) for U.S. Revenue-Cutter Service (USRCS) ship Thetis, in which Admiral Stockton, U.S. Navy (USN), made explorations in Alaska in 1889.
