Canoe Cove is located on SW coast of Annette I., Alex. Arch. 1 mile wide.
History
Named in 1883 by Lieutenant Commander H. E. Nichols, U.S. Navy (USN); so called "because it is a stopping place for the natives when waiting for good weather and provides good shelter for their canoes."
