Fanshaw Range is located trends S from Steamboat Bay along E shore of Cleveland Passage, 72 mi. E of Sitka, Coast Mts. 10 miles long.
History
Named in 1887 for Cape Fanshaw by Lieutenant Commander C. M. Thomas, U.S. Navy (USN); published in 1888 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
