History
Eskimo name written "Ko-go-luk-tuk" in 1885 by Lieutenant Stoney (1900, map), U.S. Navy (USN). This is probably the same stream spelled "El-yog-o-lok-tok" by Lieutenant J. C. Cantwell, U.S. Revenue-Cutter Service (USRCS), in 1885.
