Cape Blossom is located on Baldwin Peninsula, extends into Kotzebue Sound, 11 mi. S of Kotzebue, Kotzebue-Kobuk Low.;
History
Named in 1826 by Captain F. W. Beechey, Royal Navy (RN), for his vessel, the H.M.S. Blossom, while exploring the Kotzebue Sound region. "Bloomer Mountain" on U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) Chart, 8700.
