Description
Canning Valley is located extends NW along Canning River, N of junction of Marsh Fork 30 mi. S of Flaxman I., Arctic Slope. 40 miles long.
History
Leffingwell (1919, p. 139) wrote, "The Canning Valley within the Franklin Mountains is floored for the first 6 or 8 miles with gravels, * * *."
