Description
In the De Long Mountains, flowing SE on the S side of Tupik Mountain and then NE to join Kogruk Creek to form the Utukok River, Brooks Range
History
Named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists in 1950 for Tupik Mountain on the north side of the stream, an Eskimo word meaning "tent."
