Heads in Sinclair Lake and flows N to a Mackey Inlet adjacent to the Arctic Ocean 43 mi SE of Point Barrow, Arctic Plain.
History
Named in 1837 by Thomas Simpson (1843, p. 144), the first white explorer along this caost, for his native guide George Sinclair.
