Flows NE by a circuitous route to the Killik River, 6 mi upstream from the Colville River, Brooks Range
History
So named about 1950 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists during exploration of Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 4, because of the "confusing way in which the stream meanders."
