Located on west bank of Killik River 9 miles southwest of its junction with Okokmilaga River, Brooks Range.
History
Eskimo name recorded by Orth in 1956, at Anaktuvuk Pass, as "Imnaitchiak," meaning "young (Dall) sheep."
