Description
Kalikpik River is located heads in lake, flows NE to Harrison Bay, 9 mi. SW of Atigaru Point, Arctic Plain. 40 miles long.
History
Eskimo name reported in 1951, by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) and refers in meaning to the stream "being without banks" because "it flows through flat lands."
