Description
Heads in Shublik Mts., flows E to the Sadlerochit River, 3 mi downstream from the mouth of Snow Creek, 24 mi. NW of Mount Michelson, Brooks Range. 6 miles long.
History
So named in 1948 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists because of a prominent gravel terrace exposed along the stream. It was reported in 1960 by C. L. Whittington, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
