Flows NE to the Utukok River, N of Omicron Hill, 76 mi ESE of Point lay, 83 mi. S of Wainwright, Arctic Slope. 25 miles long.
History
Name proposed in 1924 by W. T. Foran, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because of the desceptive appearance of the valley and the difficulty of determining its junction with the Utukok River." The name first appears on a 1924 fieldsheet by O. L. Wix.
