Description
Disappointment Creek is located flows N to Utukok River, W of Lookout Ridge, 95 mi. S of Wainwright, Arctic Slope. 25 miles long.
History
Named by W. T. Foran, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in 1924, for his disappointment "when it was discovered that the creek did not head in a pass through the DeLong Mts." (in Chapman and Sable, 1960, p. 53).
