Description
Emerging from the base of Artigotrat on the shore of the Chukchi Sea, 3.3 mi. SW of Cape Thompson, 28 mi SE of Point Hope, Arctic Slope.
History
Named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and reported in 1963 by R. Kachadoorian, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); so called because a "Spring emerges at base of cliff." Named in connection with Project Chariot studies.
