Description
In Beaufort Sea, 0.8 km (0.5 mi) S of Cross Island and 32 km (20 mi) NE of Prudhoe Bay.
History
Named for Captain Robert Abram Bartlett (1875-1946), master of the Karluk, flagship of the 1913 Stefansson Expedition, which was caught by the ice near this island.
