Description
Gull Island is located at mouth of Prudhoe Bay, on Beaufort Sea coast, 20 mi. SE of Beechey Point, Arctic Plain. 0.5 mile long.
History
Named by Leffingwell (1919, p. 96), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), while he was mapping the coast with Samuel McIntyre in September, 1910.
