Description
Bodfish Island is located in Jones Is., on Beaufort Sea coast, 3.2 mi. NW of Beechey Point, Arctic Plain; 1 mile long.
History
Named in 1910 by Leffingwell (1919, p. 94) "After Captain Bodfish, of the whaling fleet."
