Martin Point is located on coast of Beaufort Sea, 8 mi. E of Barter I., between Jago and Tapkaurak Lagoons, Arctic Plain
History
Named Point Sir Henry Martin by Sir John Franklin (1828, p. 146), Royal Navy (RN), August 4, 1826. The original location is doubtful; however, the name was definitely applied to this point by Leffingwell (1919, p. 97) in 1912.
