Tapkaurak Spit is located between Beaufort Sea and Tapkaurak Lagoon, 9 mi. E of Barker I., Arctic Plain.
History
Eskimo name reported by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1952 to mean "little narrow spit."
