Description
Pokok Lagoon is located on coast of Beaufort Sea, at mouth of Pokok Creek, NW of Pokok Bay, 20 mi. SE of Barter I., Arctic Plain.
History
Local name reported by US@C&GS in 1948. Present-day tradition among the Eskimo at Barter I. is that the village of Pokok was once located at the east end of this lagoon.
