S of the Moghoweyik River, on the W coast of Saint Lawrence Island, 5 mi. NW of Bunnell Cape.
History
Eskimo name reported in 1949 by Major H. B. Allen, U.S. Air Force (USAF). According to Orth it means "the north one."
