Headin on Soomghat Mountain and flowing S to the Bering Sea, 11.3 mi NE of Kailegak Point on the SE coast of Saint Lawrence Island.

Eskimo name recommended by the Gambell village council and reported in 1949 by by Major H. B. Allen, U.S. Army Air Forces (USAAF).
