Bear River is located to Niukluk River, 32 mi. NE of Solomon, Seward Peninsula High. 15 miles long.

This appears to be the stream reported in 1899 as "Lime Creek," by Schrader and Brooks (1900, map 3), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
