Description
Salmon Lake is located at head of Pilgrim River, 29 mi. NW of Solomon, Seward Peninsula High.
History
Local name reported in 1900 by E. C. Barnard (in Brooks, 1901, pl. 17), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Barnard also noted the Eskimo name is "Nahwazuk" meaning "salmon."
