Description
Iron Creek is located on left bank of Iron Creek 0.6 mi. S of its junction with Pilgrim River, 25 mi. NW of Solomon, Seward Peninsula High.
History
A road house was shown here on the 1908 "Map of Seward Peninsula" by Arthur Gibson. Name derived from Iron Creek, which was the center of a major gold mining region in the early 1900's.
