On the W coast of Saint Lawrence Island, 10.6 mi S of Northwest Cape and 0.3 mi W of the mouth of the Kavalghak Creek.

Eskimo name, meaning "pointed," reported in 1949 by Major H. B. Allen, U.S. Air Force (USAF).
